True Brit (ENGLISH)

Since the early days of comic strips, American, Japanese and European creators have enjoyed a worldwide popularity and are held in high regard as writers and artists.
This has not been so for British comic strip creators whose work may be recognised but whose names are largely unknown.

At last there is a book that rescues some of these mostly anonymous toilers for a new generation.
The book is called True Brit and is a collection of interviews and articles on some of the best creative talents from Britain, including Frank Bellamy, Ron Embleton, Frank Langford, John Burns, Leo Baxendale, Ken Reid and many others.

It also includes the last interview given by Don Lawrence, with Peter Hansen in September 2003.
The book was edited by George Khoury for TwoMorrows Publishing.
